#017 Jude Progress

Today was another busy day, but I did manage to squeeze in about 15-minutes on Jude’s portrait.

I pulled today’s verse from one of my favorite YouTube channels the Christy Wright show. She’s one of the Dave Ramsey personalities. I love her recent video titled “Is the fear of failure holding you back?”

God says that to know Him and His word is true wisdom; to forsake evil is real understanding. - (Job 28:28) Studying His word is going to and has helped me in business, motherhood, in my finances, in my relationships, in my marriage, and with my mental health. Of course being well educated and knowledgeable in other things is wise, but one of the smartest things I can do is seek God’s wisdom first.

The Lord calls us to love Him and love others as ourselves. - (Mark 12: 30-31 and Matthew 22:39) We’re instructed to love ourselves in order to love others. If God cares about me than I must be care about me too! It’s almost like it’s a prerequisite for fully loving others.
