An immersive course for pet and wildlife artists (using any medium) ready to move beyond following tutorials step-by-step and onto creating bold, authentic originals inspired by life.
Students learn how to build dynamic, well-balanced compositions using Lauren’s 5-phase creativity system combined with the visual tools and breakable rules of art.
Embark on a journey of personal growth and discovery! Students will learn to use their personal shape and unique point of view to craft engaging originals through visual storytelling.
Are you an oil painter, acrylic artist, or a colored pencil expert? That’s just fine! Lessons can be applied to other visual art mediums - acrylics, pastels, colored pencils, copic markers, oil paint, gauche, and watercolor.
Students learn simple, fun ways of using a sketchbook as a means of self-expression, idea development, visual tool exploration, and communication.
A basic sketchbook is required for this class. Use any drawing and coloring supplies you have, even just a pen will do!
It’s not only about creating beautiful, unique originals - the process should be fun, exciting, and adaptable.
Students will learn how to create in a way that merges their favorite techniques (exm. applying a pink glaze using a large flat brush) with the creative process (exm. testing out colorful floral designs to express joy and hope).
Not sure how to make your pet portraits more creative? Gain inspiration and creative guidance on adding more interest and variety to your custom and/or original animal portraits.
Art can be an empowering act! Struggle and painful circumstances can bring urgency and deep meaning to the act of creating art. Your expression becomes raw, honest, and deeply human. Students will learn how to harness the ugly phase of life by creating authentic, emotional originals that people can feel!
“I highly recommend this class, it’s covered everything I needed help with on building originals and given me ideas. I get so much motivation and inspiration not only from her classes, but the incredible online community. I wouldn’t be where I am without Lauren’s amazing classes.”
“I’m so happy with my work since I’ve been watching your videos. You’ve helped me so much in finding my style. I applied what you taught to a highland cow painting for my niece. ”
“My experience in this class has been revelatory! Your lesson on Artist Style Milestones was incredible. I think it finally gave me the “aha” I was looking for. I also really appreciate the challenges because they “force” me to try something new and stretch my skills. ”
