Wild, Living Hope You Can Hang on Walls.
Pet and wildlife art and tutorials to inspire hope, healing, and creativity.
Art Therapy Approach
I’m Lauren Elizabeth, Certified Art Therapy Practitioner and Independent Pet and Wildlife Artist. Through an art therapy-inspired process, I blend mindfulness, connection with nature, creative expression, and my hope in Jesus into every acrylic original, commission, and tutorial.
Bold, Bright Hope for the hurting, healing, and heartbroken.
In a dark, fast-paced, overwhelmed world we can lose sight of tending to our internal world. My art is a visual reminder that healing is possible from the inside out when we slow down, enjoy nature, and create through the storms of life.
I offer collectors and fellow creatives who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, or addiction - meaningful, hope infused animal art and art therapy-based tutorials.
I use colorful cats, dogs, birds, insects, and flowers to plant seeds of hope! Each one telling a story about the quiet, unseen metamorphosis of my own heart and mind as I take one step at a time walking with Jesus.
An Eye Shining New Collection Coming.
I believe the eyes tell a story about the soul.
The Transformed by Hope collection is an eye shining, acrylic mixed media series featuring wild cats, dogs, birds, and flying insects.
Each piece reflects my growth journey - wrestling with worry, control, self-doubt, and perfectionism, while discovering a deeper hope, freedom, and strength through my relationship with Jesus.
Through vibrant color and natural life this series seeks to uplift the weary heart, offer comfort in seasons of struggle, and inspire viewers to believe that healing and transformation IS possible!
Using Animal Art to Process my Past and Present.
After experiencing domestic violence and struggling with deep rooted insecurity, I fell into addiction, anxiety, and depression. At my lowest I was living in my aunt’s basement, broke, addicted, and unable to hold a job.
In that hopeless season I turned to the church, where free group therapy and a new friendship—who became my accountability partner—helped me start rebuilding my life. Soon after that I began drawing and painting animals every morning and evening while listening to sermons and painting tutorials. A creative habit and faith that steadily transformed me from the inside out.
Today, my life is brighter than I could have ever imagined! I’m addiction-free, blessed with an amazing husband, two young children, five beloved pets, and sharing my story and skills as an Art Therapy Practitioner and Independent Artist.
