Animal Art Journaling
An online journal experience designed to help ALL level artists reset mentally and creativitly for 2021. Only opens a few times each year!
Animal Art Play: Artists will create colorful, abstract and realist pet and wildlife portraits in a mixed media sketch book.
Mental Reset: With each journal prompt artists will identify, explore, and express their feelings and emotions in a healthy, creative way.
How does it work?
The Online Animal Art Journal Challenge lasts 30-days, contains 30-tutorials, and each tutorial takes roughly 30-minutes to complete. You can choose to follow the tutorial Lauren provides OR create an entirely different piece that relates to the prompt theme.
Challenge Objectives:
✔️Reset and refresh for 2021.
✔️Overcome artist block and/or perfectionism.
✔️Learn acrylic painting techniques.
✔️Develop a creative routine for stress.
✔️Create abstract and realistic animal art.
What are prompts like?
Each day in the Online Animal Art Journal Challenge Lauren will provide a painting and/or drawing animal art prompt. Students can choose to follow along to Lauren's tutorial or create something different. Just as long as it correlates to that days prompt. Each prompt comes with:
- Narrated tutorial with music
- Screen reference photo
- Paint palette view
- Paint colors list
- Journal writing section
- Goal planning
- Some traceables provided
How can I win?
One winner will be chosen based on creativity, theme credibility, and number of submissions. The more prompts you post on Lauren’s YouTube Community Facebook Group, the greater your chances are of winning! The winner will receive any of the following prizes - acrylic bundle pack, paint brush set, or one month free in Lauren’s Masterclass. We’re NOT looking for perfection, just consistency.
What materials do I need?
A list of the exact materials will be given to you at registration AND with each tutorial, but in short, all you’ll need is a mixed media journal size 7 x 10 - 11 x 14 inches, a graphite pencil, a ballpoint pen, and acrylic paint. Click HERE to view Lauren’s art journal materials kit.
