Day #1 Journal Prompt
Details: Draw and paint a crazy owl.
Message: “Whoooo do you think you are?” says Mr. Owl. Well, who are you? As you paint this owl, meditate on that question. What makes you, YOU? Think of one word descriptions as you paint.
Paint Colors: Cadmium Yellow, Rouge, White, Black, Yellow Ochre. If you do not have rouge you can mix red with purple and a little white.
Other Supplies: Micron 05 ballpoint pen, small flat brush, small round detail brush, cloth, water. All materials and brands are listed HERE.
Instructions: After you complete this creative prompt, use the left side to write down the questions shown below the tutorial. I encourage you to write inside your art journal using your favorite pens, pencils, or markers. Once you’ve completed both sections, post/send just your drawing/painting for a chance to win. NOTE: If you’re left handed, switch the side you plan to paint and write on.
