The Journaling Process: To get the very most out of this challenge, be sure to do the following.

1. Plan a specific time to journal. Decide ahead of time instead of rushing to make time. Allot about 35-minutes to complete each prompt, 30-minutes to draw and/or paint, and 5-minutes to write.

2. Allow yourself to just create. Your journal is your sacred, safe space to be nothing more and nothing less than YOU. As best you can avoid all judgment, criticism, and distractions from your phone, computer, or T.V. Simply come as you are each day expecting to learn something new about animal art and yourself. If you end up loving your creation, awesome, you can frame it and hang it! If not, let it go, and rest in the effort you made to show up.

3. Complete both sections. Both the creating and writing section of each prompt will help you reflect, relax, and reset for 2021. To effectively identify, explore, and express your feelings in a creative way, allow yourself to create and write flaws and all.
