I call it, “Be Strong & Courageous.” 11x14.
It’s funny how God works because I finished this painting yesterday morning and Adam got laid off his job yesterday afternoon. His last day is this Friday. I already planned on including the words, “courage” in the title.
Now I know why. All this time the Lord’s been preparing me to trust him, to place my full strength in him, and to be courageous through the next couple months.
Alright God, I’m excited to see what you’re up too! I trust you!
Our family will be just fine.
I stuck to a color theme this time using 7-colors instead of the entire rainbow! Those colors are Fluorescent Pink, Burnt Sienna, Black, White, Yellow Ochre, and Sky Blue.
You can make a beautiful yellow/orange using this pink, yellow ochre, and white.
The verse I chose for this one is from Deuteronomy 31:6 which looks almost identical to Joshua 1:6.
P.S. My brand new print shop opens tomorrow! YAY!! I’m so excited.
And here’s my #30. A quick doodle with my puppies! Rosie and Zeus.
Daily Creative Quiet Time
Here I go! All through 2022 I’ll be sharing my daily creative quiet time routine. I’ll shoot for 10-minutes a day (at least) progressing through a Commission, or an Online Animal Art Masterclass tutorial, or a Youtube tutorial, or artwork for Collectors.
For me the creative process involves more than just colorful paint, it’s an act of praise and worship. I chose the phrase “Confidence in the Lord” as my art/life focus for the year. I plan to pull colorful inspiration from bible verses, the valuable lessons of life, and the vibrant paint I get my hands on! Now lets paint.
