It's been a marvelous May with several paint parties, murals, pet portraits, and art shows!
I hosted my regular bi-weekly Ladies Paint & Sip on the day before Mother's day. I feel so blessed to have such amazing woman come out and paint! These sunflowers are absolutely brilliant, don't you think?
That same day I completed "Glamour Queen" for Mother's Day. A golden retriever covered in pearls and beautiful bling using acrylic on cotton canvas.
I recently finished the background for the Illinois Street mural. I can't wait to get started on the animals and people. I'll be working on this big mural for the next month or so.
At the Woodstock art show, I brought the beginning of my holiday pet portrait series displayed on my new shelf! Don't you love it.
Of course I brought my compassion cards with me. The rest of my stock went to Helping Paws Animal Shelter to help support the orphan kitties and puppies.
Lastly, I finished this beautiful black Cocker Spaniel pup in colored pencil, custom made. For pet portraits click HERE for more details.
