Day #4 Journal Prompt

Details: Draw a Jellyfish that also includes your “phrase or word” of the day. Whatever that drawing represents to you, add it to your drawing.

Message: Jellyfish seem to blend in with their environment, undulating gently with the ocean's currents, and with good reason: Their bodies are made up of as much as 98% water. When they wash ashore, they can disappear after just a few hours as their bodies evaporate into the air. Jellies are even thriving in the ever changing pH levels of the ocean right now unlike most marine creatures. Even without a brain, these animals have outlasted the dinosaurs.

Without a doubt, jellyfish are one of the most resilient creatures alive. As you draw today, take on the Jelly Way of slowing down, letting go, and allowing life to simply happen without a fight.

Paint Colors: None

Other Supplies: Micron Pen and/or graphite pencil. All materials and brands are listed HERE.

Instructions: After you complete this creative prompt, use the left side to write down the questions shown below this tutorial. I encourage you to write inside your art journal using your favorite pens, pencils, or markers. Once you’ve completed both sections, post/send just your drawing/painting for a chance to win. NOTE: If you’re left handed, switch the side you plan to paint and write on.

Daily Prayer: Father thank you for this time to create and learn so much more about myself and your love for me. Use this time to help me let go and be free, trusting you with everything I cannot control. Take my battles Lord from me. I no longer want to carry them anymore. Take them and fight them for me Lord. I trust you with them and the end result. Thank you Father, amen.
